Mr. Partho P kar is the Managing Director of Brookes Enterprises an investment and strategy Consulting Company. Mr. Kar advises large Indian corporates in the area of Strategy, Business Plan and Execution. Mr.Kar has held leadership roles with the Aditya Birla Group,Arvind mafatlal group and the House Of Pearl . He was one of pioneers who got a third party social audit done by OXFAM in 1995 and got outstanding ratings for which BBC made a global coverage of the organization as a socially conscious organization. The Indian Parliament Sub-committee recognized this effort in its report on excellent manufacturing in 1998.

Partho has contributed substantially to national Textile Policymaking and has been recognized for it by the Textile Secretary and the Cabinet secretary Of the Government of India. A remarkably talented and respected civic leader, Partho Kar sits on the boards of several prestigious educational institutions and trusts.Mr Partho Kar is a trustee of Sarvodaya Ashram Etah. This Ashram was founded by late shri Vinoba Bhabe and people like late shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Late shri Acharya Kriplani were its Trustees. Partho is a Board Member of The Indian Institute Of management (Lucknow) since 1997. Partho has helped Pearl academy of Fashions over the years to become a good institute and increase footprint nationally and internationally. Partho is a Board member of the JK Business School, JaipuriaEducation Society. He is educated at the London School of Economics & Political Science, International Management Institute , XLRI-Jamshedpur and The St Xavier's College Kolkata .
